Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 March 2026  |  Arrow Power Services Pty Ltd  |  ABN: 50642887254

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement of electrical services provided by Arrow Power Services Pty Ltd ("Arrow Power Services", "we", "us", "our"), ABN 50642887254, based in Dundas, NSW 2117.

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or allowing us to perform work at your property, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not engage our services.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided verbally, by email, or through our website are estimates based on the information available at the time. Quotes become binding only once confirmed in writing by Arrow Power Services following a site inspection, where required.

Prices may change if site conditions differ from those described, additional work is discovered during the job, or materials costs change between quote and commencement. We will inform you of any variation before proceeding with additional work.

Emergency callout fees and after-hours rates apply outside standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm). These will be communicated before we attend.

3. Scheduling & Access

You agree to provide safe and unobstructed access to the areas where work is to be performed. Where access cannot be provided at the agreed time, a cancellation or delay fee may apply.

We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed time window. Delays due to traffic, prior jobs, or circumstances outside our control will be communicated as soon as practicable.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. Work will not commence on subsequent bookings where a previous invoice remains unpaid.

For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to commencement. This will be specified in your written quote.

5. Standards & Compliance

All electrical work is carried out by licensed electrical workers in accordance with:

  • AS/NZS 3000:2018 — Wiring Rules
  • Relevant NSW Fair Trading and SafeWork NSW requirements
  • Applicable Australian Standards for specific equipment (e.g. EV chargers, smoke alarms)

Compliance certificates (e.g. Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work — CCEW) will be provided where required by law or requested as part of the agreed scope.

6. Warranty on Workmanship

Arrow Power Services warrants all labour and workmanship against defects for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Faults caused by misuse, modifications, or interference by other parties after our work is completed
  • Damage caused by events outside our control (storms, power surges, etc.)
  • Manufacturer defects in supplied equipment (covered by the manufacturer's warranty)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arrow Power Services' liability for any loss or damage arising from the supply of services is limited to the cost of re-supplying the services or the amount paid for the services, whichever is lower.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or opportunity.

8. Cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.

9. Safety

You agree not to interfere with electrical work in progress and to keep children and pets away from work areas. We reserve the right to stop work and leave a site if conditions are unsafe.

If we identify a pre-existing safety hazard (e.g. illegal wiring, overloaded circuits) during a job, we will inform you. Where required by law, we may be obligated to report the hazard to the relevant authority.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance so we can work toward a resolution.
